Meet Parmida Zolfaghari, currently working as an application engineer for turbocharger projects for Jaguar Landrover and VW. “As an application engineer you do everything. Sample building, measurements, calculations and so forth. No day is the same, so it’s never boring”. At MTEE an application engineer is responsible for setting up the technical specifications required for the turbocharger, controlling those specifications and making them available in the turbocharger. The application engineer therefore has a lot of contact with the customer. Parmida is originally from Iran, but moved to Germany when she was 12. Here she took a master degree in Mechanical Engineering at the technical university of Braunschweigh, and moved to the Netherlands to work at MTEE after graduation. Parmida is now working at MTEE for 2 years. “I work in a great team and I learn so much. My study was very theoretical, but here I get a lot of practical experience.
